Which blind operation should I choose?

To choose the right operation of your VELUX blind, you should consider where your roof windows are placed and how often you expect to adjust the position of the blind.
 
VELUX INTEGRA® electric products give you remote control of the amount of daylight and heat that enter your room. Enjoy convenient access to both in-reach and especially out-of-reach windows.

Manual operation with hooks

The VELUX awning blind is very easy to operate. Simply open the window, rotate it 180 degrees and fix the blind to the two hooks on the outside of the bottom sash. The blind can be installed from the inside and you can open and close the window even when the blind is down.

   

Electrically powered and remote-controlled operation

Mains-powered VELUX INTEGRA® awning blinds give you convenient remote control for extra comfort. Connect seamlessly with VELUX INTEGRA® electric roof window (no extra wiring is needed).


   

Solar powered and remote-controlled operation

Solar-powered VELUX INTEGRA® awning blinds give you convenient remote control without any wiring.

Material

VELUX awning blinds are made of a weather resistant, 100% polyester net fabric for long lasting performance.

The electrically and solar operated awnings have a lacquered aluminium top cover. The electrically operated and solar powered awning blinds run in side channels, also made of lacquered aluminium.
