Our new Disney & VELUX Goodnight Collection is a range of blackout blinds designed for the young – and the young at heart. Inspired by their favourite characters from Winnie the Pooh, Cars and Frozen, they spark the imagination for hours of fun and play. The collection combines VELUX functionality and dependability with the exciting world of Disney's beloved characters. Perfect for a good night's sleep or a restful nap during the day. All VELUX internal blinds are power operated or cordless operated and fulfil the safety in use requirements in EN 13120:2009+A1:2014 and EN 60335-2-97:2006+EN 60335-2-97:2006/A12:2015

Manual operation with control bar and stepless positioning

VELUX blackout blind manual operation

Manually operated Disney and VELUX Dream Blinds with control bar are very easy to operate. The blind is attached to a top casing on the roof window and runs in side channels that ensure a smooth operation and stepless positioning. Simply place your hand on the control bar at the bottom of the blind and raise or lower as you please.


To ease the operation of a manually operated blind, you can also purchase rod controls, rod extension pieces and rod adaptors.

Material

VELUX blackout blinds are OEKO-TEX® certified and made of polyester fabrics. The blinds run in side channels made of aluminium.

Our pre-installed patented mounting brackets come as standard on every VELUX roof window – and they fit any of our VELUX blinds making installation hassle-free. Installation instructions will be included when you purchase a blind.

Installation instructions

The PDFs are detailed, illustrative instructions that carefully takes you trough every single step in the installation process. To be able to read a PDF file you need to have Acrobat Reader on your computer. The tool is free and can be downloaded from Adobe for free.
