Because of their location, roof windows are exposed to all kinds of weather. VELUX glazing provides heat insulation, sound insulation, added strength and safety – and protection from the elements. We offer a full range of glazing types to suit your particular needs.
 
How to choose the right glazing
Always consult local regulations to determine what kind of glazing is right for your purpose. However, independent of local regulations, VELUX recommends that you consider using glazing units with laminated glass on the inside for windows placed above areas where people sleep, play or work. Laminated glass is designed to hold the fragments together in case of breakage.
