GLU is our polyurethane roof window, which is 100% maintenance-free. It's particularly suitable for humid rooms or wherever you want to have maintenance-free convenience. And with our unique insulation system ThermoTechnology™ inside, you get extra powerful and energy-efficient protection from the cold.     

New: From 2018 all our roof windows, including the Standard range, are delivered with ThermoTechnology™ and our draught-protection gasket. Together, they make a unique insulation system for the ultimate energy-efficient shield against the cold and draughts.

    Easy cleaning position

    To clean the outer pane, rotate the sash 180 degrees. The sash must be secured in position by sliding the barrel bolt into the bushing at the bottom of the side frame.   Both hands are free to clean.

    Easy upgrade to remote control

    It’s easy to upgrade your manual top operated VELUX Standard  roof window and make it function like an electrically operated VELUX INTEGRA® roof window. With our upgrade kit consisting of power supply unit KUX 110 and a window operator KMG 100K, you can open and close your roof window at the touch of a button. For extra convienience and optimal indoor climate KLR 200 touch-screen control pad with predefined indoor comfort programs can be bought as an add-on. Use this upgrade option to control a VELUX roof window or to operate an electric VELUX INTEGRA® blind or shutter.

Choose the right roof window type and installation height

Mostly we recommend to buy a top operated roof window. A roof window is ideally installed low (starting 90 cm from the floor) – this will lead to a great view to the surroundings and at the same time leave space to furnish below.
