2. Add blinds and shutters that match your style

3. Apply for local tax credits

Before you are enjoying your new roof window, you can see if you qualify for local tax credits or subsidies. We have done the search for you and gathered a local list of tax credit programmes.

4. Get in touch with a certified VELUX installer

The last step is finding a local certified VELUX installer. Your installer will remove the current roof window, install the new one, and refinish the interior of your home (if needed) for a beautiful, seamless installation.

Installation takes from just four hours and at prices starting from €682. Also, your new roof window can easily be installed from within your home, eliminating the need for scaffolding or lifts. ​

Replacing a single roof window with multiple roof windows adds only a few hours to the installation but can be completed in one day (depending on number of additional roof windows to be installed).
