Do you need semi-frequent access to your roof? VELUX roof access windows are side-hung for easy access to chimneys, aerials, gutters and more, from inhabited rooms. A pneumatic spring installed at the top of the sash makes it easy to open the window and keeps it locked in place. 

The window is hung right side with a left-side handle as standard. The hinges and handle can be moved to the other side prior to installation if needed.

VELUX roof access window GXL and GXU, making it a convenient roof access from your heated loft area. GXL comes with pine finish while GXU comes with white, maintenance-free polyurethane finish.
